Smart TV for a Disabled Person

Hello Dear BBQ Community

I am a disabled person living in Bayside Gardens who is in need of a used, but fairly newish, great condition Smart TV that I can get at a low cost or for free.

I have been disabled for over 25 years. I have only half the function I had prior to becoming disabled. I Imagine most of us have losses in life. We just learn to accept our new normals, roll with the punches and carry on. Speaking for myself, I truly feel I still have a good and fortunate life. It just has more limitations and needs than the life I had before I became disabled.

Although my dear sister may have an opposite view, I have been blessed with enough function to be independent much of the time. For this, I am beyond grateful. But the last couple of weeks is an exception. I am not managing well and I am up a creek. So, I am asking for help.

I didn’t realize until two weeks ago how much I depend on my evening routine of relaxing in my recliner that supports my neck and broken body while I enjoy streaming for a couple of hours on my tv before bed. Two weeks ago my older model Samsung suddenly became obsolete and will no longer reconnect to wifi. I didn’t realize what an important restorative that evening routine is to my ongoing ability to keep my broken body functioning instead of worsening. I have come to realize it is also among my pain management tools as well.

So, I am like a duck out of water the past two weeks. My ability to function physically is declining. Pain management is loosing ground. I am feeling sort of frantic. A Costco add for a new TV keeps wickedly grabbing my attention; smart TVs are so much more affordable now than when I last bought one years ago. But the plain truth is that buying a new Smart TV even at a good Costco price is simply out of the question for me. I am struggling to even afford adequate groceries right now.

So this is a shout out to find a good used Smart TV.

I am not asking for an older smart TV that you just want hauled away. I will have to pay money to take my old one off the wall, pay to mount its replacement and pay to carry each of them to their respective destinations. Labor around here is not cheap nor easy to line up. Getting an older Smart TV is not an answer to my prayer.

I am hoping there might be a tech type person in our community who likes to upgrade fairly often to newer and best Smart TV technology who has a fairly new smart TV model in great condition they would like to gift or sell inexpensively to me.

Thanks in advance to anyone who may be my miracle in progress.
