Hello Friends,

We’ve had a little more parking space open up for the NO KINGS3 Event this coming Saturday, in Manzanita, from noon to 2 PM. This is parking for people’s cars, for people who can walk a short/uphill distance. You will see signs at the turnout for the Seventh Day Adventist Emergency Care building which is just south of the junction of Laneda Avenue and Highway 101. This road is called Neah-Kah-Nie Creek Road. Follow the arrows. We’ve been asked to park cars BEFORE you come to a bridge. Do not park on or near the bridge. Leaving room in this area will allow people to turn around and go back out the same road they have come in. Again, you will need to be able to walk a short distance uphill to get to the NO KINGS3 Event. Once you walk to the top of the hill you will be coming out near the Manzanita Water Building. There will be people there to assist you. DO NOT use this area for parking if you have any difficulty walking.

More parking is available up and down both Laneda and Manzanita Avenues. Know you’ve heard this before but-do not park in lots that serve businesses up and down Laneda or Manzanita Avenues. Do not park in the Manzanita City Police parking lot-which is located behind the Manzanita City Hall. You can park in the City Hall parking lot.

Bathroom are located on 5th Street and Laneda Avenue. A good idea to go before the event starts.
Thumbs down and middle figure gestures are to be met with the peace sign and smiles.

Bring your non-perishable food for both the North County Food Bank and Nehalem Bay Community Services. We will also be taking cash and checks for these two organizations -you need to tell us where you want your dollars to go.

Please get it out of your system that you want to cross Highway 101 during this NO KINGS3 event. Please stay on the West side or Pacific Ocean side of Highway 101.

If you have questions please get back to me and I will try to answer them.

STAY SAFE!
Best,
Patty
