Come Sweat Your Prayers, this Thursday 3/19 @ 5:30pm

“Ecstatic Dance” is an internal experience with an external expression. It asks nothing of you but to bring yourself, as is, and your intention to take a curious and loving look, internally, to see what is asking to be moved, or expressed, through your body. Where, in your body, does tension or tightness live? Where does fear live? Where does grief live? Where does confusion live? Where in your body does weakness or imbalance live? Where in your body are the walls? What about the armor? How heavy is that to carry? What can we liberate, allow to break free, in ourselves, through this practice, in service to liberation for all? Only you know. Only you can give yourself the gift of your dance.

I feel the sap rising. I feel the matriarchy rising. Whatever is, whatever comes, I want to meet it with fluidity and strength, wisdom and connection. Let’s practice together and get flowing what is asking to flow, move what is asking to move, and make room for who we are really here to be.

(Also, the music is great, the people are the best, and it is really the most joyful experience, imo.)

This Thursday, March 19, 5:30 (doors open by 5:15) at the White Clover Grange in Nehalem. Bring your favorite Goddess or female/non-binary deity to add to the altar.

This session hosted by Jamie Corvus.
$10-20 at the door. (No one turned away for lack of funds. Kids dance free.)
