TEP is seeking volunteers to assist with transplanting seedlings that will help restore riparian habitats. By transplanting these seedlings, we can help them grow into strong, resilient plants that stand a better chance of thriving in the wild. Some species that we’ll be transplanting are Western red cedar, pacific crabapple, and evergreen huckleberry.
The events will be held on Fridays, February through March, and will take place at TEP’s Native Plant Nursery located on the Port of Tillamook. Volunteers will be given a brief training and then let loose to help transplant seedlings into bigger pots.
We’re excited to chat with you over a transplanting station!
