Here is a list of culturally appropriate food items you might wish to donate:

· Beans (dry or canned)

· Cooking oil

· MASECA flour (corn flour for tortillas)
· Corn starch / Maizena
· All-purpose flour
· Hominy (canned)
· Pasta / noodles
· Canned peaches or pineapple
· Granola bars
· Peanut butter
· Cereal (non-sweetened)
· Mayonnaise
· Raisins
· Oats
· Dry peppers (“chiles secos” in Spanish. Such as guajillo, pasilla, chile ancho)
*Grocery gift cards are also very much appreciated!

For knitting circle: bring red, green, white and black yarn, knitting needles or crochet hooks
For Voo Doo Dolls craft: bring scraps of fabric, felt, small buttons, black embroidery floss and pearl head pins
Local women artists are invited to bring their Resistance themed art to show. If you have an easel , please bring it, as well.
