To see so many gathered in our streets to say no, people listening to differences knowing how we all discriminate and change and learn.
As we descend into the winter solstice
may we stay warm, grateful for our community…
Yearning
On the green banks
of this descending river,
yearning to be nothing,
roots of ancient trees
cradle an open heart,
as beauty weaves its way
into this enduring dream.
