MEET THE CAST: MOLLY REARDON and JACQUI POWELL
Molly Reardon: Mom, adventurer, and self-proclaimed thalassophile, Molly now calls Rockaway Beach home after stints in Maui, Tahoe, and Oregon City. You’ll find her planning her next trip or exploring new ventures, often with her dog, Tilly, by her side on the beach. She is thrilled to make her Riverbend Players debut in a show that pokes fun at her mom’s annual Hallmark holiday movie marathon!
Jacqui Powell: Jacqui is making her Riverbend Players debut and lives in the quaint, Christmasy land of Nehalem with her really, really attractive prince and their three young ninja secret agents. She works as a very important real estate lawyer businessperson and is super attractive, talented, funny, and good looking… wink. ;). This will all make sense after the show! Haha!
THE HOLIDAY CHANNEL CHRISTMAS MOVIE WONDERTHON, by Don Zolidis and directed by Frank Squillo, is a hilarious spoof of the Hallmark and Lifetime Channel Christmas movies.
Set in a cozy Vermont inn during Christmas time, the play follows six predictable, intertwined love stories filled with small-town charm, romantic misunderstandings, and holiday magic.
THE HOLIDAY CHANNEL CHRISTMAS MOVIE WONDERTHON comically embraces every cliché, trope, and heartwarming twist of these beloved holiday movies. Friday and Saturday nights at 7 pm, Sunday matinees at 2 pm.
