Dear Protesters,

Thank you to everyone who joined us last week in Nehalem—your energy and commitment make a real difference, and new faces are always welcome!

The North County Resistance Group will meet again this Saturday in the Nehalem City Parking Lot from noon to 2:00 PM. Join us to make your voice heard, connect with fellow community members, and help shape our community’s future. Bring your signs, a chair, and a positive attitude; stay as long as you like. After a few days of much-needed rain, we’re hopeful for sunny weather next Saturday.

Together, we are working to restore law and order to our National Government by advocating for transparent policies and supporting local initiatives that protect democratic values. By gathering, we not only defend our own freedom of speech but also stand up for the rights of those around us.

Our commitment to our local food bank remains strong. Please put that food in your car right now so you don’t forget it. Non-perishable foods, check, and cash are always welcome, and they go right to our North County Food Bank. Congratulations to those who made it possible for the food bank to take up space next door to their current location while their building is being built. And a big thank you to all the donors in our community who keep the food bank going.

We will have more information about the “No Kings” protest coming up in October. Again, we need 8-10 people to help us set up and with the safety and security issues.

Best,

Patty
