There will be a Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, September 12 from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 pm at Nehalem Bay Fire & Rescue – Station 13. Address is on the attached flyer.
The Red Cross has over 135 years of experience providing humanitarian aid including more than 75 years of supplying blood to those in need. Each pint of blood they collect can help save up to three lives and will touch the lives of so many more. What a great way to pay it forward and make an impact on people in our community and across the country.
We are Thankful to Partner with the American Red Cross in this important work. A good number of you are already routine donors, and THANK YOU!!
If you are able to Donate, please visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter: NBFR to schedule an appointment.
If you would like to join the amazing Red Cross as a Volunteer, please contact the Red Cross at: www.redcross.org/volunteer/become-a-volunteer.html or call 1-800-733-2767 (1-800-RED Cross).
There are many ways you can help, but most importantly we hope you come out to donate at this or an upcoming Blood Drive in our area.
The reason I am sharing this email is because this Blood Drive was scheduled to be held in Manzanita, but that facility is not available. Chief Frank and the Nehalem Bay Fire & Rescue stepped in and has made their venue available for this drive (in addition to their regular Blood Drive schedule).
THANK YOU TO OUR PARTNERS ALWAYS!!
Thank You for your Consideration to Donate; it is truly Life Saving for So Many.
Sincerely,
Velda Handler RN
