We are able to donate $2000 to The Sameer Project and $2000 to Gaza Little Lights. We also raised $200 through our lemonade stand, which will be donated to Heal Palestine via the Kids Healing Kids summer initiative. Thanks Cove and Shane!

Obviously the amount of need greatly surpasses what most of us feel we can actually achieve to make a difference. Every action, regardless of size, can feel like a drop in the ocean compared to what is truly needed to even begin to hinder immeasurable suffering. I hope that in staying informed, active, donating, and through spreading awareness we can make good use of our time while our hearts ache for humanity. Watching our community come together in this way was a reminder that we are not alone in our grief for unspeakable injustice. We know that now, more than ever, that human connection is powerful and necessary for the future.
