Birthright Citizens ship – yes or no?

Based on current United States constitutional law and Supreme Court precedent, birthright citizenship is not limited to the children of parents who are in the country legally. The 14th Amendment guarantees that, with very narrow exceptions, anyone born within the United States is automatically a citizen, regardless of their parents’ citizenship or immigration status.

Today with Globalists blessings, birthright citizenship leads to “birth tourism,” a controversial practice in which foreigners who are pregnant travel to the U.S. to give birth as a way to obtain American citizenship for their child. Over the years, federal authorities have uncovered lucrative businesses that charge tens of thousands of dollars for birth tourism services.

Chinese birth tourism involves specialized agencies, often charging $40,000 to over $100,000, that help affluent Chinese nationals travel to the U.S. to give birth. These services include visa coaching, housing, and medical care, ensuring babies secure U.S. citizenship. California is one of the most popular locations. The practice is widely scrutinized as a national security issue by US lawmakers.
The lawmakers cite reports estimating that between 750,000 and 1.5 million Chinese nationals have obtained U.S. citizenship through birthright policies and birth tourism, though federal agencies have not publicly confirmed those figures.

A Supreme Court case that could end birthright citizenship has recently thrust the issue into the spotlight. The nation’s highest court will hear oral arguments about the constitutionality of President Trump’s executive order declaring that children born in the U.S. to parents who are in the country illegally or temporarily will no longer be considered American citizens.

American citizenship is a sacred trust — not a loophole to be exploited,” Roy said. “When foreign adversaries like the Chinese Communist Party can leverage birth tourism and visa-less programs to gain influence within our borders, we must restore integrity to our immigration system and defend the sovereignty of our Republic.”
