The annual Polar Plunge is back!
New Year’s Day at 11:00 AM at Neahkahnie Beach
HOWEVER: This year, conditions are a bit different, so please read the following carefully.
Important Information for your safety:
KING TIDES: Water level is expected to reach 9.6 ft at plunge time. Please be aware!
BEACH TERRAIN: There will be logs and debris along the shore and floating in the water as the waves come in!
BONFIRE: No beach fire will be available this year, as any areas are too close to dune grass.
ACESS: Entry will most likely be from the road, as usable beach space may be limited.

Participation carries inherent risks. Please take personal responsibility for your safety and of those around you!
Despite these precautions, the plunge is a fun and invigorating way to kick off the New Year! Come prepared, stay safe, and enjoy the experience.
