Announcement: Louise’s Party January 10, 2026
Louise V. Christianson, was Tillamook County’s whirlwind of compassion and enthusiasm for all things people, animals, good causes, and Mother Earth. She passed away at her home in Bayside Gardens on August 11, 2025 at the age of 86.
Louise specifically did not want a memorial service to be held in her honor. Instead, she left instructions for a “Party.”
A Date and Place for Louise’s Party has been determined!
January 10th, 2026 – Saturday Location: NCRD -North County Rec. District, 36155 9th Street, Nehalem, Oregon Kitchen-Gallery-Fireside Room 3:00 – 6:00 pm
Food – Beverages – Music
If you knew Louise even a little bit, you knew she supported and got herself involved in a wide range of local causes. Those included the North County Food and Clothing Bank, Lower Nehalem Community Trust, Manza-Whee-Lem Kiwanis, Tillamook Animal Shelter, Animal Haven by the Sea, The Nehalem Animal Clinic/Matt Didlake, The Heart of Cart’m, and many others causes, a much farther and wider swath.
She was a fervent recycler; she loved animals but DOGS the most, she loved good food, she loved music.
Help mark the passing of a loving dynamo, who touched so many lives in her community. Friends and acquaintances, please bring your stories and come celebrate Louise on January 10th.
