“Selander, Arthur A. (1884-1978) Painter, oil, watercolor, landscapes of Washington and Oregon scenery, drawing, pencil, charcoal. Born in Marshfield, Oregon in 1884. At one time he worked as a cartoonist for the Oregonian. Member: Oregon Society of Artists, president for three terms. League of Oregon Artists, honorary membership; The society of Western Artists, San Francisco, California; The League of Professional Artists, New York. Prolific artist, painted with Clyde Leon Keller from the 1920’s.”
