A Genesis
Broker of treason and transparent crimes,
your promise and word mean nothing to you.
A flag, a bible, a stream of endless lies,
the art of what you are offering is clearly deceit.
Soon all will see you have lost your way, losing
the dream of America. So broken, you bring only
an abundance of self-loathing. In the turning,
the great play of capital and quid pro quo,
let us remember the dignity of the ordinary
patriot honoring an oath, that sacred promise
to follow and uphold the law. Standing together,
we will not, “…let you do it.”
Our hope, the uplifting of America will return,
privilege weakened, faith affirmed.
When you are taken down and behind bars,
you can heal what is broken or go down failing
in your own mad bunker, as the light of America
returns, the enduring dream, out of many one.
