NTLF Art in the Library Series presents the works of Tela Skinner on display in the Manzanita Library for the month of August. Ms. Skinner retired to Manzanita in 2008, and has been pursuing creative endeavors since then. Tela tells us she enjoys contemplating life’s mysteries and that her art comes from a meditative state she experiences as she ponders what it means to be a spiritual being in human form. She expresses her deep curiosity about the influence of astrological archetypes, our deep seated beliefs, and our collective consciousness through her art. Please stop by the library to admire her recent works.
Tela hopes these abstract images mirror her gratitude for the gift of life, for family and friends, for nature’s beauty, and for simple pleasures.  If you are interested in purchasing any of Tela’s work, you can contact her at  telaskinner@gmail.com
